The million dollar question! How do you prepare for your photoshoot?

The run up to your photoshoot can be a bit overwhelming, if you are not sure what to wear or what to bring with you. If this is you right now, read on and put your mind at rest. The aim of our time together is to capture what makes you, you. To capture carefree memories you can treasure forever.

Not sure what to wear?

I always advise to not over think it, keep it simple. Wear something you feel comfortable in. I want you to look back at these photos in years to come; and be reminded of great times NOT 'why the hell did I wear that'. For family photoshoots, aim for co-ordinating rather than matching.

TOP TIP - Discuss what you plan on wearing on the day with the other family members ahead of time to prevent any last minute panics.

Each family photoshoot usually starts with a walk from the cars to our location. Do wear appropriate footwear. Photoshoots take place in the countryside, there can be mud and uneven surfaces!

Do I need to bring anything?

Do feel to bring drinks or snacks with you. The photoshoot is usually around an hour; However, there is no set time; we can take as many breaks as you need. Useful items to bring, may include a hairbrush, wet wipes, any make up you might want to wear. Possibly a change of clothes too.

A great thing to bring is your child's favourite toy, these can make for some great shots too.
